Position: Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Hormonal Health Program (Full-time or Part-time)

We are a forward-thinking, independently-owned wellness clinic located in the thriving Glenora district of Edmonton. Our clinic is dedicated to providing a patient-centric approach to healthcare, focusing on the complete well-being of individuals. We strongly believe in blending Eastern and Western medicine, as well as incorporating insights and therapies from various allied health professionals.

Qualifications (mandatory):

  • Valid Nurse Practitioner license and registration in the province of Alberta. Must be in good standing.
  • Master’s degree in Nursing with a specialization as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, preferably with a focus on integrative care and the management of hormonal health concerns.
  • Expertise in perimenopause, menopause, andropause, and other hormonal imbalances is highly desirable.
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
  • Compassion, empathy, and a patient-centered approach to care.
  • Ability to work independently, manage a caseload, and prioritize patient care.
  • Motivated to work as part of a collaborative team of registered acupuncturists, naturopaths, physiotherapists, massage therapists, and more.
  • Able to work days, evenings, and/or weekends.
  • Up-to-date professional malpractice and liability insurance.
  • Self-motivated, responsible, punctual, professional, and client-focused.
  • Dedication to patient success.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Comfort with virtual care delivery.

Requirements:

  • Provide comprehensive and advanced nursing care to patients with hormonal health concerns, including perimenopause, menopause, andropause, and other hormonal imbalances.
  • Utilize an integrative care approach, combining evidence-based conventional medicine with complementary and alternative therapies to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, diagnose health conditions, and develop individualized care plans tailored to each patient’s specific hormonal health needs.
  • Collaborate with our Naturopathic Doctors, Chief Clinical Officer, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care for patients.
  • Monitor and manage hormonal health conditions, providing ongoing support and guidance to patients and their families.
  • Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, self-care strategies, and available resources.
  • Conduct follow-up care, monitor treatment efficacy, and adjust care plans as necessary.
  • Stay updated on the latest research, advancements, and best practices in the field of hormonal health and integrative care.
  • Comply with applicable government regulations.
  • Maintain proper documentation & charting in our practice management tool.
