Red Leaf Wellness has offered scholarships and bursaries for students in acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine and naturopathic medicine.
The 2024 awards
Two scholarships recognised academic achievement. The bursary also considered financial need.

Acupuncture
Excellence
For students in an acupuncture or Traditional Chinese Medicine program in Alberta.
- Minimum GPA
- 3.7 / 4.0
- Essay
- 500 words
2024 eligibility & requirements
- Full-time, continuing enrolment in a recognised acupuncture or Traditional Chinese Medicine program at an accredited institution in Alberta.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.7 on a 4.0 scale across all courses completed in the program.
- A 500-word essay describing a volunteer role or activity, your TCM studies, and how the award would support your education or career.

Naturopathic Medicine
Excellence
For students in a naturopathic medicine program at an accredited institution in Canada.
- Minimum GPA
- 3.7 / 4.0
- Essay
- 500 words

- Full-time, continuing enrolment in a recognised naturopathic medicine program at an accredited institution in Canada.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.7 on a 4.0 scale across all courses completed in the program.
- A 500-word essay describing a volunteer role or activity, your naturopathic medicine studies, and how the award would support your education or career.

For eligible acupuncture, TCM or naturopathic medicine students with financial need.
- Minimum GPA
- 3.3 / 4.0
- Essays
- 500 + 250 words
2024 eligibility & requirements
- Full-time, continuing enrolment in a recognised acupuncture or TCM program at an accredited institution in Alberta, or a recognised naturopathic medicine program at an accredited institution in Canada.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale across all courses completed in the program.
- Demonstrated financial need.
- A 500-word essay describing a volunteer role or activity, your studies, and how the award would support your education or career.
- A separate 250-word essay explaining your financial need.
