Diversity, Inclusion, and a Recognition for Those Who Were Here Before Us – Our Foundation for Healing Together.
At Red Leaf Wellness, we are diverse, inclusive, and carry a deep respect for those whose land we gather on. Bettering others is at the heart of who we are. We incorporate a holistic approach into our care plans, and also in supporting the values, views and beliefs of all those who enter through our doors. We are building a culture where difference is appreciated, embraced and built upon to bring out the best in each other.
Multiculturalism at the Heart of our Diverse Team
Our team of providers and support staff represent a highly diverse demographic ranging in cultural backgrounds, ages, and genders. We hail from different corners of the world, bringing broader and more open perspectives towards our treatment plans. We believe a diverse team creates a safer and more inviting atmosphere for those we care for, many of whom also come from distinctly unique backgrounds.
We encourage our team to harness their insights and experiences to create a better, more diverse practice that looks at issues from all perspectives. Our goal is to weave all of the unique skills and experiences of our learned professionals into the very fabric of our care plans.
Inclusive and Safe Space for All
Inclusivity is integral to our team at Red Leaf Wellness. Everyone deserves to have access to empathetic and compassionate services that help them feel their best. We expect and demand nothing less than a safe and welcoming therapeutic environment for all groups of people – regardless of sexual orientation, family status, religion, creed, nationality, physical ability, age or any other factor.
Red Leaf Wellness recognizes that disabled and marginalized patients often suffer from more complex physical and mental conditions, and sadly, that they can struggle to have their voices heard and their needs addressed. Our team specializes in understanding the highly individualized and unique needs which manifest from certain physical disabilities, mental health challenges, and/or life transformations such as with gender reassignment.
A Deep Respect and Sense of Honor for Indigenous Community
Our team is humbled to provide services in ᐊᒥᐢᑿᒌᐚᐢᑲᐦᐃᑲᐣ (Amiskwacîwâskahikan), Treaty 6 Territory. We acknowledge that the land on which we are able to provide care is the traditional gathering place for many Indigenous people. We honor and respect the history, languages, ceremonies and culture of all First Nations, Métis, and Inuit who call this territory home.
We Look Forward to Serving You
We look forward to partnering with you on your health journey and in learning from each other along the way. We hope that as our guests you feel welcome and cared for, and that you are always free to share with us your questions, comments, fears or concerns.
