Important Notice on Lab Fees
While most public health lab tests are covered by provincial health plans, coverage does vary by province. Patients are responsible for any testing fees associated with non-covered or private lab tests ordered as part of their treatment plan. This may include specialized hormone and metabolic tests such as Vitamin D and SHBG, among others.
These fees are paid directly to the laboratory. Red Leaf Wellness does not control provincial coverage policies or private lab pricing. Your provider will discuss any required tests with you in advance, but it is your responsibility to verify coverage and associated costs before proceeding with testing.
