Golden Flower is gone from Canada. We still have some.
Golden Flower Chinese Herbs are no longer being brought into Canada. If you have been trying to refill a formula this year and getting nowhere, that is why. We still have stock, and we will ship it anywhere in Canada for a flat $25 for as long as it lasts.
What happened
In January 2026, Eastern Currents, the Canadian distributor, notified practitioners that Golden Flower Chinese Herbs was being discontinued in Canada.
This is not a safety matter and there has been no recall. Eastern Currents had relicensed every Golden Flower formula with Health Canada. The problem sat further up the chain. Golden Flower moved production to a new manufacturer, that facility was not certified to the Good Manufacturing Practices standard Health Canada requires for import, and Golden Flower chose to stop supplying Canada rather than close the gap.
The formulas did not change and nothing was pulled from shelves. What changed is that no new stock can legally cross the border. Eastern Currents has been sourcing alternatives from other manufacturers, but those are different products, not the same formulas under a new label.
So the Golden Flower sitting in Canadian clinics right now is close to all the Golden Flower Canada is going to get.
What we are holding
Last verified against our Glenora stock on 18 September 2026. Stock also sells in clinic, so we confirm availability before invoicing.
Most of what we have is in single-digit quantities. Fourteen pack sizes are down to one bottle. We are not keeping a waitlist, because we have no expectation of restocking.

There is no shopping cart for this, so ordering runs by email.
- Email us at info@redleafwellness.ca with the formulas and sizes you want, and the address you would like them shipped to.
- We confirm the stock is still on the shelf and build an invoice.
- We send that invoice to you. You pay it online.
- We ship.
Flat rate shipping to any address in Canada, whatever the size of the order. One bottle or ten, the shipping is the same, so it is worth consolidating if you are stocking up. Prices above exclude GST.
Final sale. Golden Flower is discontinued in Canada and we are clearing out the last of our stock, so these products are final sale: no returns, exchanges or refunds. This replaces the supplement and retail returns policy on our fees page for Golden Flower orders.

On choosing a formula
Chinese herbal formulas are prescribed to a person rather than to a symptom, and what suits you depends on a clinical assessment. If you have been taking a specific formula on a practitioner’s recommendation, order that one. If you are not sure what you need, please speak with a registered practitioner before ordering from a stock list.
If you are a practitioner looking for Golden Flower stock for a patient, contact us directly. We would rather it reached the person who needs it.
Questions we are getting
Why is Golden Flower no longer available in Canada?
Golden Flower moved production to a new manufacturer, and that facility was not certified to the Good Manufacturing Practices standard Health Canada requires for imported natural health products. Rather than close that gap, Golden Flower chose to stop supplying Canada. Eastern Currents had already relicensed the formulas with Health Canada, so the licences themselves were never the obstacle.
Was there a recall? Is it safe to keep taking what I already have?
There has been no recall. This is an import and manufacturing certification matter, not a safety finding. Every formula listed above carries its Health Canada NPN, shown beside the product name. If you have a question about a bottle you already own, speak with the practitioner who recommended it.
Is Golden Flower coming back to Canada?
No timeline has been announced. Eastern Currents told practitioners it would be unable to replace the formulas for the foreseeable future. We are not taking backorders or keeping a waitlist.
What can I take instead?
Eastern Currents has been bringing in formulas from other manufacturers, including Tian Jiang and Treasure of the East. Those are different products rather than the same formulas relabelled, so substituting one for another is a clinical decision rather than a matter of matching names. Ask your practitioner before switching.
Can I still get Golden Flower somewhere else in Canada?
Possibly. Other clinics and suppliers were holding stock when supply stopped, and what any of them has left changes week to week. We can only speak for our own shelf.
Do you ship outside Alberta?
Yes. Flat $25 to any address in Canada.
Do I need to be a Red Leaf Wellness patient?
No. Anyone in Canada can order.
Can I return or exchange a formula?
No. We are clearing out the last of our Golden Flower stock and cannot reorder it, so every order is final sale. This supersedes the supplement and retail returns policy on our fees page. If your order arrives damaged, email us at info@redleafwellness.ca and we will make it right.
While it lasts
There is a fixed quantity of Golden Flower left in the country. We have some of it, and once ours is gone we cannot replace it. If you rely on one of these formulas, order sooner rather than later.
