About Red Leaf Wellness
Rooted in Edmonton. Built around you.
We meet you
where you’re at.
Your health deserves time, curiosity and a care plan that makes sense for your life.
Whether you’re seeking specialist referrals, hormone replacement therapy or current pharmaceutical treatments, prefer to explore underlying causes and natural remedies, or want a combination, you should feel equally at home here. We start with your priorities and help you understand your options.
Our story
A shared vision. Complementary strengths.
Tammy and Daniel Lalonde founded Red Leaf Wellness with a shared purpose and distinctly different strengths. Their common grounding in emergency services gives them a practical understanding of healthcare. Tammy brings a career centred on clinical care, patient education and integrative practice. Daniel brings experience in technology, operations, leadership and business planning. Together, they connect the needs of patients with the systems, people and sustainable growth that help a clinic serve them well.
Our integrative roots
Our early experience with integrative care at Hoag Hospital’s Womanology department in Southern California helped shape the practice. From those beginnings, Red Leaf Wellness grew into an Edmonton clinic bringing acupuncture, naturopathic medicine, nurse practitioner care and manual and mind body therapies together.
Our philosophy
“How can these work together?”
Care should never begin with an either/or choice between medical and natural approaches. It should begin with you.
Medical treatment
If your priority is a specialist referral, hormone replacement therapy or pharmaceutical treatment, that belongs in the conversation. Our medical practitioners can assess the options within their scope and recommend care suited to your circumstances.
Natural approaches
If you prefer natural remedies and want to explore the underlying causes of your concerns, we welcome that starting point. We respect your preferences while explaining the evidence, limitations and circumstances that may call for medical assessment.
Anywhere in between
You may want elements of both. We consider how approaches can fit together, including potential interactions, benefits and risks. Your preferences matter, and your plan can evolve as your needs change.
You do not have to choose a healthcare philosophy to belong here. Our role is to help you make informed choices, with each practitioner working within their qualifications and scope.
Beyond the appointment
Part of a wider community.
We want people of different backgrounds, identities and life experiences to feel welcome here. That commitment shapes how we listen, learn and develop our services.
Our wider work includes supporting learning, building partnerships and using digital systems to reduce paper and make care easier to navigate.
