Nutritional plans look differently for everyone so we want to ensure that your unique needs are met by restoring balance to your body, mind and soul and enjoying the benefits of long-lasting results.

The Importance of Good Nutrition

It’s no secret that good nutrition and physical activity are important in maintaining optimal help but the benefits reach far beyond just losing weight. Good nutrition can also help:

  • Reduce the risk of many diseases, including diabetes, heart disease and osteoporosis.
  • Reduce high blood pressure.
  • Lower high cholesterol.
  • Improve your immune system.
  • Increase your energy levels.
  • Balance your hormones.
  • Improve skin conditions
  • And more!

Good nutrition involves getting all of the nutrients, vitamins and minerals your body needs to maintain good health.

This involves planning your meals and snacks to include nutrient-dense foods that are also low in calories.

Easier said than done, right? With so many options in the world when it comes to food, it’s hard to know what to eat and what to avoid in order to achieve the right levels of nutrition.

Which is why our Nutritional Consultants are ready and available to provide you with Nutrition Services that will consider your individual and unique needs and formulate the perfect plan to get your health on track!

Assessing Nutritional Needs

The first step in providing nutrition services is to assess your individual nutritional needs and determine what resources are available to help you reach your wellness goals.

Our Jumpstart program involves an initial nutrition consultation and assessment which takes about 45-60 minutes, one 45-minute follow-up, and weekly check-ins for a one month duration. These meetings include in-session recommendations, tips and tools based on your personal goals as well as a personalized health plan, and a 7-day meal plan.

Meal Planning

With our 100% personalized meal plans, you can achieve your nutritional goals, save time and money and have fun cooking at home!

Meal planning can be a huge challenge, especially when you live a busy life full of competing priorities. Getting organized with a meal planning system can be difficult and, as a result, you may find yourself eating more take-out and processed foods.

When you’re set up with an individualized meal plan, you can take the mystery and stress out of figuring out what you are going to eat each day.

The result is that you will eat healthier, thus improving your energy, elevating your mood and reaching your health goals faster!

Our meal planning service is included with our Nutrition Services to provide you with everything you need to get started and set you up for success.

But why stop there? You can sign up for 1, 2, 3, 6, or 12 month coaching plans that include follow-ups, check-ins, guidance, support and education throughout the duration of the plan. That way you can make a commitment to yourself, to following through with your health goals. From there, we will take care of the accountability, so we can help keep you on track and lead you to success!

The time is going to pass anyway… what result do you want to see in the next 3 months? How about 6 months or a year? Think of what you can accomplish if you start today.

Red Leaf Wellness also offers a variety of workshops/classes, and services to complement our Nutrition Services including qigong, meditation, reiki, acupuncture, massage, osteopathy, and craniosacral therapy.

It’s easy to get lost in an ocean of advice concerning food. “Do this but don’t do that!”. When it comes to your health, each body is unique and requires a unique approach.

Alicia is a Certified Nutritional Consultant who used both Eastern and Western philosophy and science to create a balanced approach to health. Deciding what to eat shouldn’t be a source of stress, with the help of a Nutritional Consultant you can choose the right foods that will balance your unique constitution, and don’t worry, we don’t ever leave the flavour out of it!

Alicia’s journey to health started after years of being sick with illnesses that the doctors couldn’t help her with. She struggled with PCOS, adrenal fatigue, extreme deficiencies, brain fog, poor memory, anxiety, digestive issues, depression and was told by medical doctors that these issues were normal.

She decided to take matters into her own hands and after years of experimenting with diet, herbs, and supplements, she diminished all of her symptoms and finally felt amazing in her body.

Alicia decided to go to school for Holistic Nutrition and Herbalism so that she could make it her life’s work to help others heal the same way she did. She has ever since been successfully helping others use food and herbs as medicine!
