Qualifications (mandatory):
- Degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- Current and valid license to practice as a Physiotherapist.
- Strong knowledge of pelvic anatomy, physiology, and the assessment and treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction.
- Experience in providing internal pelvic floor assessments and treatments.
- Compassion, empathy, and a patient-centered approach to care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently, manage a caseload, and prioritize patient care.
- Dedication to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
- Motivated to work as part of a collaborative team of registered acupuncturists, naturopaths, physiotherapists, massage therapists, and more.
- Able to work days, evenings, and/or weekends.
- Up-to-date professional malpractice and liability insurance.
- Self-motivated, responsible, punctual, professional, and client-focused.
- Dedication to patient success.
- Current CPR certification.
Qualifications (preferred):
- Previous Physiotherapy experience and/or allied healthcare experience.
- Existing patient panel.
- Additional training and certification in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy.
- Experienced in Functional Medicine.
Requirements:
- Conduct comprehensive consultations with patients to assess their health concerns, medical history, and lifestyle factors.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on naturopathic principles, incorporating natural therapies, herbal remedies, nutritional guidance, and lifestyle adjustments.
- Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and self-care techniques.
- Administer various naturopathic treatments, such as acupuncture, herbal medicine, homeopathy, hydrotherapy, and nutritional supplementation.
- Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care and referrals, when necessary.
- Stay updated with current research, developments, and best practices in naturopathic medicine.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Adhere to professional ethics, standards, and regulations governing the practice of naturopathy.
- Continuously develop and enhance your professional skills through ongoing education and professional development opportunities.
- Comply with applicable government regulations.
- Communicate and coordinate with patients’ physicians to ensure a consistent level of care.
- Maintain proper documentation & charting in our practice management tool.Responsible for cleaning equipment after each use.
- Responsible for maintaining general clinic cleanliness.
