Qualifications (mandatory):
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license and registration and in good standing.
- Master’s degree in Nursing with a specialization as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, preferably with a focus on integrative care and the management of complex diseases.
- Expertise in oncology, chronic conditions, immunology, mental health, and PTSD is highly desirable.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
- Compassion, empathy, and a patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to work independently, manage a caseload, and prioritize patient care.
- Motivated to work as part of a collaborative team of registered acupuncturists, naturopaths, physiotherapists, massage therapists, and more.
- Able to work days, evenings, and/or weekends.
- Up-to-date professional malpractice and liability insurance.
- Self-motivated, responsible, punctual, professional, and client-focused.
- Dedication to patient success.
- Current CPR certification.
Requirements:
- Provide comprehensive and advanced nursing care to patients with complex health conditions, rare diseases, and unique care needs.
- Utilize an integrative care approach, combining evidence-based conventional medicine with complementary and alternative therapies to optimize patient outcomes.
- Conduct thorough assessments, diagnose health conditions, and develop individualized care plans tailored to each patient’s specific needs.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary internal and external team, including physicians, specialists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated and holistic
- care for patients.
- Monitor and manage chronic conditions, oncology treatments, immunological disorders, mental health concerns, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in collaboration with
- patients and their families.
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, self-care strategies, and available resources.
- Conduct follow-up care, monitor treatment efficacy, and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Stay updated on the latest research, advancements, and best practices in the field of integrative care and disease management.
- Comply with applicable government regulations.
- Maintain proper documentation & charting in our practice management tool.
- Responsible for cleaning equipment after each use.
- Responsible for maintaining general clinic cleanliness.
