Our practitioners calendars are provided online so you may view their openings and self-schedule an appointment that matches your needs.  We look forward to serving you!

Our Cancellation Policy

Life is complex and we do understand that. Please understand that if we are holding a spot for you, other people cannot book during that time. The nature of the scheduling means that about 24 hours in advance, most of the people who wanted to come in on a certain day have already booked. Since our clinic relies on volume, we need to keep a full schedule to keep our fees in the affordable range that means so much to our clients. When you cancel too late for someone else to take your spot, this makes it hard for us to keep our doors open.  A credit card on file is required to fully confirm all appointments.  Appointments cancelled with less than 24-hours notice are subject to a $50 cancellation fee. “No Show” appointments are subject to a fee equal to 100% of the scheduled service value.

Tammy Lalonde ~ MS, BS, Dipl.Ac, LAc, RAc, EMT-Paramedic

Caring for people is my passion and one of the greatest callings life has to offer.  I am a seasoned Paramedic and Acupuncturist with extensive experience assisting patients as they cope with obvious and invisible injuries. I have been there for those in desperate medical, psychological or traumatic situations, delivered beautiful babies in vehicles parked along the side of the road, and administered care in such odd locations as on a domestic airliner at 30,000 feet or when flying emergency medevacs over Arabian desertscapes. I know full well how to care for those in true crisis but have also witnessed so many more whose illnesses and injuries could be traced back to their treatment of the body as a whole, whether through their diet, fitness levels, or neglect. As my career has evolved, so has my focus, which has shifted to helping a greater number of people early on to prevent minor issues from evolving into larger and costlier illnesses.  In my practice I have found a niche offering by pairing these strengths in emergency care and women’s health with the respected skills and techniques from top practitioners in oriental medicine. All care is focused on returning the body, mind, and spirit to a whole.

My academic preparation closely incorporates oriental medicine with Western healthcare. My passions build on natural strengths in highly stressful complex interactions, care management, and treatment of anxiety, depression and PTSD – particularly amongst Armed Forces and Emergency Services personnel. Within North America and the Middle East I have enjoyed a long standing career as a respected clinician, clinical educator, fire and emergency medical dispatcher.  I hold active licensure with the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), the College of Acupuncture and Associates of Alberta (CAAA), the California Acupuncture Board and the Alberta College of Paramedics (ACP).  I am also a Board Director with the Alberta Pain Society.

Melanie Morrill Headshot

Melanie Morrill ~ RAc

I believe in supporting people where they are in their journey by keeping the care in healthcare.

I use acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion, and other modalities to support health and wellbeing   because everyone is different and needs a unique treatment plan to return to balance. I focus on gentle acupuncture techniques whenever possible. Acupuncture is often profoundly relaxing and napping during treatments is common.

I have additional training in sport medicine, fertility, and gynecology/obstetrics because they are of special interest to me.  Studying anatomy, physiology, and biomedicine at the University of Alberta and acupuncture from Macewan University has helped me understand different healing modalities and their underlying mechanics.

Outside the clinic I can be found gardening, walking in the river valley, or relaxing at home with a cup of tea and my adorable cats.
